The Miracle of Plastic Zip-Top Bags

When it comes to travel there are a few things that come in really handy: baby wipes, hand sanitizer and plastic, zip-top bags. Keeping baby wipes on hand, regardless of the age of your kids, can be extremely helpful. Wipes are excellent for cleaning the hands and faces of young and old alike. They’re also ideal for cleaning up spills on car seats, clothing or on your child’s favorite snuggly. Hand sanitizer is especially useful whenever soap and water aren’t readily available.

Plastic, zip-top bags however, have got to be the most useful, multipurpose item in your luggage. The best part is they take up very little space. You can use plastic, zip-top bags:

1.    To store wet or soiled clothes.
2.    As a placemat.
3.    As a rain hat when the weather turns foul.
4.    To cover shoes in really wet weather.
5.    As a container for the kids to collect their shells, rocks or other treasures in.
6.    As entertainment: turn it into a kite, parachute or flag.
7.    To collect trash in the rental car or on the train or airplane.
