Keep Extra Clothes Handy During Transit
You have been driving on your way to your family vacation destination for hours. After multiple meals out of a sack, you are ready for something that might be considered a few steps up from a greasy spoon. Vegetables and full service, after all, sound quite nice at this point. You have one problem, however. A quick glance in the backseat reveals several children who look like refuges from a war zone.
Do not panic. You can clean them up rather quickly and make them presentable. Just grab your emergency clothes pack and march them into a service station bathroom before getting a table at a nice restaurant.
What is that? You do not have a backpack at the ready with a quick change of clothes for your little ones? If you do not, make this your first priority the second you have the opportunity. When you have an emergency pack at the ready, you can redress your kids quickly and save yourself the time of pulling out every suitcase to get the job done.
To ready an emergency pack, make sure to include these things:
- A complete outfit change for each child
- Baby wipes or other cleaning wipes to scrub clean little faces and hands
- A brush or comb and other hair products
